01Can MachLink fit the systems and processes we already use?
Yes. We start with how your team works: the systems you rely on, the reports you need and who acts on the information. We then work with you to find the best fit, from tailored fleet views and service intervals to connections with existing software. API integrations, data feeds and specialist workflows can be scoped around your requirements, with the connection and delivery details agreed together.
02Which vehicles and equipment can we connect?
Cars, utes, vans, trucks and site equipment can all be assessed for a MachLink setup. We take a flexible approach to mixed makes, models and applications, selecting the vehicle interface or additional sensors to suit the job. Tell us what you operate and what you want to understand; we confirm the connection options and available signals for each vehicle before installation.
03What data can MachLink bring together?
Start with the information your operation needs: GPS position, distance, engine run time, idle time and activity. Add available engine and diagnostic signals such as temperatures, pressures, RPM, load, battery voltage and fault information, plus specialist sensors where the application calls for them. If a signal can be measured and interfaced reliably, we can assess how to bring it into your setup. The data collected depends on the vehicle, sensors and agreed configuration.
04How does EngineINTEL support predictive maintenance?
EngineINTEL combines configurable rules, anomaly detection and learned vehicle behaviour to highlight changes that deserve attention. Reviewing temperature, pressure and other signals against relevant operating conditions can reveal an emerging pattern before a single threshold tells the whole story. Alongside engine run time, distance and service history, that evidence helps prioritise inspections and routine maintenance. The aim is an earlier, better-informed decision, with evidence your team can review.
05Does EngineINTEL compare behaviour between engines?
EngineINTEL uses engine-specific templates and each vehicle’s own learned history as references. That keeps the comparison relevant to the engine, its configuration and the work it is doing. If your operation needs analysis across similar engines, we can scope that with you around consistent signals, comparable loads and appropriate data permissions. A heavily worked truck should not be judged against a lightly used service vehicle.
06Can maintenance reflect hours worked, not just kilometres?
Yes — engine run time matters, especially for vehicles that idle, power equipment or work on site without travelling far. We work with you to define maintenance requirements using elapsed time, distance and reliable engine-hour data, alongside manufacturer service guidance and vehicle condition. Bringing that context and the vehicle’s history into the workshop conversation helps plan the work around your operation.
