MachLink mobile app
The MachLink app connects directly to an authorised nearby MachLink over Bluetooth for low-latency live engine data. Historical recording and the normal MachLink web platform continue independently.
Cannot connect to MachLink
- Keep the vehicle or powered asset safely stationary while pairing.
- Confirm the MachLink is powered and Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Move the phone close to the MachLink and open the app again.
- If this is the first connection, sign in and scan the QR code attached to the correct MachLink.
- If the app says the phone authorisation expired or was revoked, scan the QR code again.
No mobile reception
After a phone has been successfully authorised, the live dashboard is designed to reconnect locally without requiring a current cellular connection. First-time authorisation and periodic security revalidation require internet access.
Values are blank or stale
MachLink deliberately shows an unavailable or stale value rather than treating missing data as zero. Confirm the ECU/interface is active and that the signal is available for the configured vehicle profile. Bluetooth does not change the normal MachLink raw-data recorder.
Account or vehicle-specific help
Sign in to the MachLink web platform for the full help centre and account-security tools. If your hardware was supplied by a workshop, contact that workshop for vehicle, ECU or installation-specific support.
